"Moved from continental plaza to Ji hotel for our last night in Vientiane. The hotel is especially for Chinese tourist… it’s good and not good… based in old Chinatown, the hotel is on the 6st floor of a building. Inside it’s very nice, quite new, and service was nice. Then come the morning and the included breakfast… only Chinese food combination… not really choices… no coffee, no orange juice or else, only a cup of milk… some porridges and Chinese rice rolls or buns and eggs, these kind of combination… not attractive at all… to eat the breakfast you have to go to 1st floor and walk outside to a partnered restaurant who will serve you a choice of 5 Chinese combinations food. Workers of the hotel are nice but don’t speak English only Chinese… have a rooftop swimming pool and a gym but exposed to sunshine so it was too hot to swim or to gym 🤭."

"This hotel looks really nice and quite new. So I was really pleasantly surprised in the beginning. However, when interacting with the reception, they do not care to help you and unaware of simple tourist questions. When checking in, they don't want to accept credit cards to put a hold for incidentals, so I had to give 30 USD. I only have $100, they don't have change to give me, so they took the full 100. My throat was hurting/sick, so I wanted to have honey with my tea at night. I ask the reception for some honey, he told me the restaurant on the 2nd floor is closed and told me to go to the roof top bar to see if they have some. I also want to do alms giving to the monk at the nearby temple, they were so unaware about what time the monks do their daily routine even though the monks walk past the hotel everyday. For such a nice hotel, the service is equivalent of a cheap motel."

"We had a very pleasant stay, all the staff were very helpful and friendly. The meals we had at the hotel were excellent. Also the location is great, close to the Mekong River (safe to walk or run along the river) and the Night Market."

"Nice hotel, very charming. Like an oasis of lush green in the city. The staff were very friendly and competent. Location is not central, but as we like walking and exploring, this hotel was perfect about a 30 minute walk to most places sometimes less. In any case it is only a very short taxi ride to anywhere. Breakfast was good. No complaints about the hotel and if we come to Vientiane again, we would definitely stay here again."
