IS Perdas

I really liked Is Perdas! The rooms are the best of the best the artisan Sardinian landscape has to offer, from the Ghiro' pillows and mattresses to the exquisite decorated cotton blankets, chairs, and curtains. The pool is also great and has an excellent position to enjoy the sun all day and the sunset. The Spa was gorgeous and Monica has magical hands, I loved her scalp massage and eye treatment. The food is very tasty and traditional in the best way possible. As a vegan, I was able to enjoy a wonderful dinner and they prepared a ratatouille for me as we arrived a little earlier than check-in (although I would love a soy yogurt at breakfast :) ). All in all, it was a great stay. The reason why I am not giving 5 dots is that the welcome and overall reception experience was not at the level of the rest (eg. long time at check-in, directions to drop our luggage not clear, not knowing if our booking included dinner, pretty long check-out time). These might have been because the Italian Republic Day was driving more people to Is Perdas than usual, but I am just flagging this for them to know where to improve on an overall great Rural Retreat Experience with true Sardinian flavors! See you surely soon again!

Wonderful retreat venue, put together by Claudio and his family. The property is special, and conveniently located above the town of Gergei near the Giara and the Nuraghi of Barumini. Our only suggestion is a dinner offering some more green vegetables.

What an amazing and unexpected discovery! The most genuine family run business who cares so much about sharing, teaching, caring, making you feel special and most importantly proud of their ancient history and doing all it takes to honour it and using it to build this paradisiaque retreat that delivered on every aspect! Claudio, his dad, his wife, their 1 month old baby, his brother and his amazing cook mother + Siham and Jabal her dog are in our hearts forever! An adopted family! The dedication and investment both for financials and emotionally this family put in their business shows in every stone, wall, leaf, meal, breeze, view and the air you breathe. We love you guys, you are a rare find! Where everything you do feels so simple and natural just because you do it without thinking without calculating, you just do because who you are. We loved every single second of our stay! My husband and our two boys 14 and 10 felts relaxed, taken care off without being too much. That’s a balance extremely difficult to strike unless you are special with an amazing level of empathy, generosity, pride, commitment to excellence, humbleness and unselfishness.

What an experience. Beautiful place. Great room. Amazing view(s). Delicious food. Extremely professional service and warm welcoming. Hot tub drinking sparking wine at sunset was the cherry on the pie. Can't wait to go back.

Really beautiful place and food was genuine and delicious . Only problem was rooms were too hot due to technical problem with heating and dogs barked for many hours during the night which really disturbed our sleep we wished someone would have tried to keep them quiet it was such a shame as everything else was really lovely .

We had the livliest time in Is Perdas! The owner, Ivina and her husband as well as stafff were extremely hospitable and assisted us in exploring surrounding attractions. The facility is exquisitely built and maintianed and we loved our room.
